Good morning...
A note from Dan...
This is the week I will be under the knife for my cancer surgery. I will be entering the VA Medical Center in Decatur (Atlanta) GA at 6:00am on Thursday morning. I will be in the hospital for six days on the 9th floor (not sure of a room number). I would welcome anyone stopping by if you are close to the area... and send chocolate in lieu of flowers!
I want to thank everyone who has sent their thoughts and prayers my way. I definitely need them all. This is a scary time of life for me, but I AM going to overcome the situation and make it through the other side.
I would also like to thank MusiCares for the assistance they are providing. This worthy organization has not only helped me but a number of other industry people that I know. My family will be providing periodic updates on my facebook page about my situation, and a friend will be sending out emails on my behalf while I am unable to do so. Additionally, Music News Nashville's LATEST NEWS will continue being updated, and I would like to thank Jaimie and Kyra for their help.
I appreciate my friends and family and am thankful for all. I will be back... and better than ever.

Thanks for all your support.
The "Red Hot" Blazers have been travelling the King’s Highways and playing live at festivals in Ontario and in clubs
all over the Greater Toronto Area. It’s been great playing with these guys over the last 6 + years and we have a
great album to support with some of the friends we’ve met and played with along the way...it’s been awesome and
we couldn’t have done it without you...our fans, friends and supporters. We hope you enjoy our new album of 11
original songs. Thanks for continuing to support us live.

Sat., Oct. 17th – We are back at The Harp & Crown in Pickering with Special Guest Juno award winner Jack de Keyzer.
Jack produced and played on 5 tracks on our new album.
The Blazers - "RED HOT ROCKIN' RHYTHM & BLUES" with infectiously Funky grooves that straddle the line where
Rhythm & Blues meet Rock with exuberance that's impossible to resist!
Members of the band have recorded and/or shared the stage with JUNO Award, Maple Blues Award, ECMA Award,
and Indie Award winners/nominees. We had an awesome experience recording our debut album, RED HOT, with 3
JUNO award-winners and appreciate all the support and guidance. We had a lot of fun in the studio, and
you will feel the high energy and creative spirit throughout in our music.

Jack de Keyzer - Producer - plus played on 5 tracks with us.
Alec Fraser - Engineer (former Bass player with Jeff Healey, David Wilcox and now Jerome Godboo)
