June 15, 2012 Greetings from Linda & Marc from Mishara, We hope your summer is off to a sizzling start!  We've got some very exciting things happening at Mishara these days so wanted to let you know all about them! Recently, we joined forces with Award-winning singer-songwriter Gabriel Mann (of the hit indie band 'The Rescues') to re-release his first two solo projects; the first self-titled album "Gabriel Mann" and also his follow up CD "Tall Buildings". If you've watched Modern Family or Arrested Development, you've heard some of his amazing songs already and if not, you'll become an instant fan after scoping out how cool his songs are. To convince you, we're giving you two of Gabriel's most  popular tracks: Get  "Lighted Up" and "Shadows of Tall Buildings" by clicking on each of the bolded song titles. The main thing you should know about Gabriel Mann is that he's a good guy. Also, that he writes and performs his songs while retaining a sense of humor, a grip on reality, and a need for honesty. His songs are both intensely personal and universal, intricate, yet catchy. He's done just about everything there is to do in the music world, including composing scores for video games and TV shows. He produced Sara Bareilles' Careful Confessions, wrote songs for Fox's Modern Family and Arrested Development, opened for Alanis Morissette's European tour and for Jamie Cullum here in the States, sang all the island fare in Office Space, & opened for the Rolling Stones while playing with Tim Burgess.   Somewhere in there he finds time to make his own records, which have been given several songwriting awards, including Overall Grand Prize for "Lighted Up".           AND....Our other exciting news is from the talented trio from Wichita, Kansas,  CLARENSAU, who are currently in the middle of KICKSTARTING their follow-up to the fantastic "Until our Lungs Give" ...by recording their upcoming CD called "This One's For You - A Country & Folk project, featuring all new songs by Tyler Clarensau, Tyler and Sally Caggiano. Clarensau fans can become a integral part of making their new record!
