KING BISCUIT BOY "BLUES WITH A FEELING" - MAY 31/08

April 7, 2008

The Leander Boat Club in Hamilton, ON, will be blues-ing out Saturday, May 31, at the sixth annual King Biscuit Boy "Blues With A Feeling" memorial concert.

Hamilton’s hottest show of the year — and a guaranteed sellout — will feature rising blues harp superstar Bharath & His Rhythm Four, who will take us all back to the scorching hot South Side of Chicago. This Montreal band tore up the Montreal Jazz Festival last summer and is lining up European blues festival gigs for summer 2008.

Also on the bill are Trickbag (with special guests), Zark & The Sharks (from Buffalo), Mark LaForme and the Darcy Hepner Blues Band.

As usual, proceeds go to music scholarships at Mohawk College in Richard Newell’s (a.k.a. King Biscuit Boy) name.

Tickets are $25. Doors at 7:30, show at 8.
