DIANA BRAITHWAITE & CHRIS WHITELEY @ THE COVE INN - JAN. 21 & 22

DIANA BRAITHWAITE & CHRIS WHITELEY BAND

at BLUES ON THE RIDEAU @ THE COVE INN, Westport, ON (just past Smiths Falls)

January 20 & 21/12

A heads-up that the Saturday night show is now Sold Out but there are STILL TICKETS AVAILABLE for Friday, January 20. They're going fast though so call and book now if you want to be there - and you will!

Diana & Chris have won 8 Maple Blues Awards (Chris is up for another one this year for Best Horn Player) and been nominated for 6 Junos. They play it all - from 1930/40's classic roots Blues to 1960/70's electric Chicago with some fabulous Soul and R&B thrown in as well. Diana's pure, powerful vocals are complimented beautifully by Chris's excellent vocals, guitar, harmonica and trumpet. They are coming off a great year with tours across Canada, the U.S., the UK, Ireland and Europe where they were greeted enthusiastically by both audiences and critics alike.

They are joined for these shows by two members of the legendary DOWNCHILD Blues Band - GARY KENDALL on bass and MIKE FITZPATRICK on drums. Both have won multiple Maple Blues Award over the years (Gary is up for another one this year for Best Bassist). Chris' talented son DAN WHITELEY (Luther Wright & The Wrongs) will also being joining them on mandolin. One very hot band!

News Flash! The Cove has RENOVATED the stair entrance and Pub side of the venue opening things up and giving much better sight lines to the stage from that side.

DINNER & SHOW is only $60
