LABEL’S INAUGURAL RELEASE IS
THE JEFF HEALEY BAND LIVE AT GROSSMAN’S – 1994

Conveyor Canada is excited to announce the launch of its brand new Canadian label imprint Convexe Entertainment.
The Jeff Healey Band Live At Grossman’s - 1994 is Convexe Entertainment’s inaugural release, set for June 14, 2011. The CD features a blistering homegrown and previously unheard performance from The Jeff Healey Band at the peak of their career, recorded live at Toronto’s famed Grossman’s Tavern in 1994. This is the first in a series of Jeff Healey Band releases from Convexe, as a great deal of previously unreleased content has been unearthed from the band’s audio and video archives.
“We are extremely proud to honor Jeff Healey’s musical legacy with this series of Jeff Healey Band archival releases. Our mission is two-fold: to pay tribute to Jeff as one of this country’s most memorable and innovative musicians, and to preserve the band’s Canadian identity. With Convexe being a wholly-Canadian owned label, we felt it would be a great home for this project,” comments Peter Piasecki, President of Conveyor Canada and Convexe Entertainment.
With Gold and Platinum records, millions of albums sold worldwide, 10 charting singles, and numerous awards and accolades, including a 1990 Juno Award for Entertainer of the Year, Jeff Healey is unquestionably a true Canadian rock/blues/jazz music icon. Over his illustrious 30-year career, Healey’s signature guitar-playing style and sheer musical prowess has garnered the respect of his fellow artists, producers, media and fans, both internationally and at home. Sadly, he passed away in 2008 after a lengthy battle with cancer.
