Upcoming Gigs 5/12/12, New York, CD RELEASE SHOW, The Bowery Electric, 7-9pm  5/19/12, Bourbon Street Blues Festival, Califon, NJ, 3pm  Willie McBlind celebrates National Train Day with the release of their new CD ~ The new CD, Live Long Day, features a transporting collection of train themed songs, ranging from Catler's off the rails "Slow Moving Train" to Robert Johnson's "Love in Vain."  Basic tracks for the CD were recorded in the train station - that is, in the recording studio set in an old train station at Bennett Studios in Englewood, NJ - and production of the CD continued in Hoboken, NJ, at Water Music where Willie and Babe filled the studio with their Harmonic Train Cloud that could be felt all the way over to the Erie Lackawanna. Full steam ahead! Upcoming Appearance ~ Hear Willie McBlind at Bourbon Street Blues Festival on Saturday, May 19th in Califon, NJ. Set amidst the pastoral farmlands of the Delaware Water Gap, it's a relaxing way to spend a late spring afternoon.
