Becki Sue & her Big Rockin' Daddies! release Big City Blues CD

The new cd by Becki Sue & her Big Rockin' Daddies! is finally here! Titled "Big City Blues", the disc features 12 great cuts, a mixture of band originals and blues covers, mostly recorded at Fastback Studios in Seattle. One cut was recorded at Studio 61 in Clarksdale, Mississippi, the heart of The Delta!

Featured on the disc along with Becki Sue, T-Boy, Jim, WildChild and Jeff, are nationally known blues artists, vocalist Candye Kane and keyboard giants Mitch Woods and Two Scoops Moore, local B3 wizard Ron Weinstein, and longtime Paul deLay guitarist, Peter Dammann. The cover artwork is by Phil Chesnut and so of course it looks cool, too!

We will be holding a cd release party this Saturday, June 16, at the Raging River Cafe & Club in Fall City (just past Issaquah on I-90), WA, in conjunction with "Fall City Days". We play outside on the main drag in front of the club from 12:30-3:30 and then again inside the club from 9pm-1am. PLEASE come on out to see and hear the band and get a copy of our new cd hot off the press!

We will also be at The Vancouver MicroBlues Festival on Friday, June 15, from 5:45-6:45. WE HEAR THIS FESTIVAL IS A BLAST!
