RITA CHIARELLI WINS FOR CUORE RECORDING
hey everybody.... a few weeks ago i let you all know that i was nominated in the "CANADIAN FOLK MUSIC AWARDS"...here's some info: " The 2007 Canadian Music Awards gala takes place on Saturday, December 1 at the Canadian Museum of Civilization in Gatineau, Québec (Hull). The event begins at 7:00 pm and the awards presentation is followed by a catered reception. The evening is hosted by Shelagh Rogers and Benoit Bourque ...." the catagory was 'best solo artist ...world''....this for my recording "CUORE....the ITALIAN SESSIONS"...i've got to tell you that i did not think i was going to win....but...i did...or i should say WE (CUORE and I ) did...!!! also a thrill for me was that my award was presented to me by Shelagh Rogers (whom i love) and Benoit Bourque (this is one charismatic and charming fellow!) i am grateful....!!! thank you ....'til soon...rita "Best Solo Artist-World/Meilleur artiste de musique du monde - soloRita Chiarelli - Cuore : The Italian Sessions (ON)"
