A cross-reference to the first overnight radio show placing a heavy emphasis on Canadian blues and fusions of same. Previously aired on CKCU 93.1 FM, and now on Saturday mornings at CHMR 93.5 FM. Danny Marks is the host of one of Canada's most respected and widely recognized Blues radio programs, BLUZ-FM, heard every Saturday night from 8pm to Midnight.
Danny's long career in music dates back to the sixties as a founding member of Capitol Records' group, Edward Bear.
He has hosted his own nation-wide TV show, Stormy Monday, starred in
CBC radio's hit series the Hum Line, and recorded two original music
albums, Guitarchaeology and True, before paying tribute to Toronto's R&B roots with yet another CD, Big Town Boy. Guests on Danny's show have comprised a veritable Who's Who of Blues and Roots music heavyweights including Robbie Robertson and Colin Linden. Stayed tuned for air times.
