Hey, everyone.

We're asking you all (blues fans & musicians) to come out and support the SW Blues magazine fundraiser next Sunday, March 11, @ Poor David's Pub, 1313 So. Lamar, Dallas, TX.

We're looking to catch up on a couple of bills with the help of YOU.

The lineup in order of playing is:

Wanda King Blues Band, featuring Chris Ruest

Smokin' Joe Kubek, featuring Bnois King

Again, doors open @ 4pm and music starts @ 5pm. $15 at the door for everyone.

Poor David usually has pizza available for patrons for $2 a slice (they're big slices), and it's also Poor David's 30th anniversary month celebration for the club!

SW Blues is heavily depending on your in-person support to get us out of the hole, so we can continue publishing a monthly issue. To help us catch up, ad rates have just increased 10% for the first time since January 2003.

I love you all and want to keep bringing the blues news to you. There will also be a few items for sale, a silent auction and/or a raffle.

Good friends and artists have stepped up to help. Please come, show your support, and know that your $15 donation at the door is a gift that SW Blues appreciates and needs, and hopes/plans to not be in this boat again! I try not to ask for much. It's an early show, and everyone can still get out to the Sunday jams after 10pm when this show ends!
