Patio Records - Helping Cancer Victims

At the heart of Patio Records is the sponsorship of concerts and recordings to help create garden patios at hospitals for individuals battling through the afflictions of cancer.
Events and contributions to date helped bring to fruition the Mary Eagan Garden that adjoins the Beth Israel Deaconess Cancer Care Center in Waltham, MA, USA, that opened for patients' comfort in the spring of 2001.
The Mary Eagan section of this site provides a deeper glimpse into the inspiration behind the garden patio concept and mention of several noteworthy design team members of the initial creation.

Save Saturday evening, April 21, 2007, in your social calendar for the 11th Annual Healing Garden Music Fest. Tickets available Online now.
The core of headliners are once-again virtuosos in their musical abilities, as well as great-hearted people underscoring all their offerings! Featured showcasers include Harvey Reid & Joyce Andersen, and Ray Legere & Patio Grass....
Harvey and Joyce, who have extensive individual careers, will travel from Maine to accompany one another in their set. Ray will be joined by fellow Moncton (New Brunswick, Canada) stalwarts Paul Hebert on vocals and guitar and Frank Doody on banjo and vocals. Also coming down from Canada, for a special appearance, will be Ottawa (Ontario, Canada) singer-songwriter favorite Ana Miura....
Patio All-Star accompanists Matt Leavenworth will offer his fiddle, guitar, and vocal masteries, and Waltham's Edmond Boudreau will weave in some fine mandolin, bass, and guitar as well.
Check the MusicFest2007 page for retail outlet info.

100% of ticket proceeds will be donated to the Children's Hospital of Boston at Waltham (towards the caring of the Mary Eagan Garden) and the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation (towards future healing gardens).
The event will take place at the National Heritage Museum's Maxwell Auditorium - 33 Marrett Rd., Lexington, MA, starting at 7:30 PM.
