AUCTION & BENEFIT CONCERT FOR ALI AKHBAR KHAN LIBARY - MAY 21-31

It is unusual for us to send out anything but GRA flyers on this list, but this one was so important to me I just had to send it out in hopes it will reach someone of interest.

Ali Akbar Khan had been my Indian music teacher for many years. He has taught me to play sitar but has also taught me a great deal about life. He is a tireless giving man that has openly given his time to tens of thousands of students to share the wealth of knowledge that is Indian Music.

During the last thirty years everything he has taught has been recorded. We are in the process of transferring and transcribing 5000 hours of audio tapes. It will be in a massive data base that will preserve the knowledge of his teaching and will make it available to future generations.

This is obviously a massive undertaking. The college is currently having an ebay auction on some items that were donated to the college. These are authentic, one of a kind collectibles. If this is of interest to you please take a look, as the money from anything you purchase will go to a very worthy cause.

I just want to say thanks to all of our GRA customers for indulging me in letting me send this to you. I promise in the future you will be receiving exciting offers of our new products coming out. Including a book by Gary Duncan of Quicksilver Messenger Service that we are all very excited about.

Peace,

Karl Fredrick Anderson II
