The FunKtion will be at Greenfield's Pub http://www.greenfieldspub.ca/ (900 Greenbank Road @ Larkin Drive, Ottawa, ON - 613-823-9900) on Saturday, Oct. 20. If you haven't been to Greenfield's recently, things have certainly changed! Big state of the art PA and lighting system! Big dance floor (yup, you will be dancing!) and lots of great eats and cold drinks! Greenfield's has recently changed management.
If you haven't seen The FunKtion yet, please come and join us, as we have lots of celebrating to do!

1) Stevie Wonder penned a number one hit for Smokey Robinson & The Mircales. Name that tune! (I've seeen lots of people dancing to it at our shows!)
2) Which Sam & Dave song was voted into the Grammy Hall Of Fame, which was established to honor truly timeless recordings? This song was also named, in 2007, as one of the "500 Songs that Shaped Rock & Roll" by the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.
HINT.. we don't cover this song..
2a) Which Sam & Dave song does The Funktion cover?
An album by the same name, it reached the #1 position during its 19 weeks on the Billboard R&B charts in 1966 and was an RIAA certified Gold album.
