"VIMY RIDGE IS CALLING" - THE NEW SINGLE FROM THE SON ROBERTS BAND

The Son Roberts Band is releasing a special single to commemorate Remembrance Day.

The single, “Vimy Ridge is Calling”, draws attention to the loss of life that Canadians sustained during World War One at the Battle of Vimy Ridge. Moreover, the song shines light on the broader issue of how wars continue to exact a horrible toll on Canadian men and women to this day.

“The Battle of Vimy Ridge got sold to Canadians as a great nation-defining victory. But for many who studied its aftermath, it was just another waste of lives in pursuit of some other country’s agenda. This Remembrance Day, we should remember how to avoid war and follow our own path in the world”, says band namesake Son Roberts.

To distribute the new single "Vimy Ridge is Calling", The Son Roberts Band is experimenting with different forms of technology and needs your assistance to help determine which format suits your individual needs best. We need your feedback on this matter.

"Vimy Ridge is Calling" can be sent to radio by 1) a downloadable MP3 link, 2) a computer memory stick, or 3) a traditional CD.

Please respond asap and let us know which format you prefer. If you choose memory stick or CD and have changed your mailing address since receiving a copy of the band's debut release, You Don't Know Yet, include your new address.
