Summer Programming for Hamilton [ON] Youth.

The Theatre of Liberation Community Project provides a unique learning experience for young people in Hamilton from the ages of 7-17 through 2- 2 week sessions in July and Aug at The Pearl Company. The TLC Sessions use participatory theatre games and exercises to aid young people to connect with the creative energy within them. The aim is to inspire participants to build self-confidence and self-respect that will lead to a greater respect for others and the community in which they live. Program goals are specifically achieved through theatre games (team building games) and exercises using a variety of arts-based activities.

Hamilton-native Kay Chornook will be holding the Canadian launch of her book, Walking with Wolf: Reflections on a life spent protecting the Costa Rican wilderness. She will have just returned from touring with the book in Costa Rica and is thrilled to be bringing it all home in the Hammer with the Evelyn Dicks.
