The Hamilton Music Collective (HMC) is pleased to announce that this past week we were the recipients of two Tourism Hamilton Awards (See below for details on each category):

1) Rookie of the Year’ acknowledging the organization’s initiatives ‘Jazz@The Corktown’ and ‘Portraits of Sound’.

2) Event of the Year for ‘Portraits of Sound’, a photo exhibition celebrating Hamllton’s musical talent.

We proudly share the awards with our sponsors (listed below), the artists who participated in these projects and all the volunteers who worked so hard to make the events and our organization a success.

HMC has also been the recipient of the FootPRINT Fund® award through Allegra Print & Imaging, Hamilton, an award given to select nonprofit organizations to help enhance their image, expand their services and extend their printing budgets.

The exhibition ‘Portraits of Sound’ will be shown at this year’s National Jazz Awards in Toronto.
