CROSSROADS - NEWS & UPCOMING DATES IN 2008

The Crossroads Band would like to wish you a very Happy New Year and best of luck for 2008!!

The band ended the year playing two private affairs and begins the New Year with two more private parties. Crossroads digs playing parties, and we might be more reasonable than you think. If you are interested in booking the band for your next happening, toga party, or picnic, just email or phone Dennis Ellis: dennis@crossroadsblues.net phone 253-922-8284 or your truly, John Lee: seattleblues@comcast.net phone 206-517-7864.

In December, drummer Dave Hudson joined the band and acts like he's been with us for years. The man can lay down a groove, for sure!

In 2007, the Crossroads Band didn't play too many gigs in Seattle, but in 2008 we will be at The New Orleans located in historic Pioneer Square, Friday, Febuary 29th, and Saturday, March 1st. www.neworleanscreolerestaurant.com.

On March 22nd, Crossroads will rock The Blarney Stone, located in Seattle's business district at 3rd and Virginia. Both clubs are fun places to play. We hope you can join us.

The band will be going into the recording studio and laying down three basic tracks. Two songs are originals, one written by Dan Newton, the other written by Steve Bailey. The other tune is a cover song, with a lead vocal from Dennis Ellis. The songs are all very strong and it will be a good time in the studio again.

We think 2008 will be a very good year. Stay tuned. There are many more gigs, shows, festivals and fairs to come. Check out our web site for gig updates: www.crossroadsblues.net

Check ya on the rebound.

John Lee
