Hello from Alice Stuart & The Formerlys!

The March edition of Flatpicking magazine is out! That's exciting news for me because my mug is on the cover! It's a special Blues edition. There is an interview inside with lots of pictures. You can't find it on the magazine stand; it can only be purchased through their website. It's only $3.00 plus shipping! Unbelievable. (And you even get a free CD with it! We will be in Nevada and Northern California the last part of May and first day of June! We'll be in Minden, NV, on May 30th, Sutter Creek Theater on the 31st, and at Headfeathers in Napa on June 1st. Pertinent information is on the website at www.alicestuart.com.

Sure hope to see some of my California friends this trip! It's the weekend after Strawberry, so you'll be all fired up after hearing all the great music there. We hope to be back at Strawberry one of these days, too! You can help by putting our name in the 'suggestion box' at Strawberry.

We will be going to Nova Scotia next year for some festival dates and we would like to spread our music to as many places as we can, so if you have a suggestion of a festival or venue that we should approach, don't hesitate to send the info to me!
