Juno-nominated Georgette Fry is an accomplished singer/songwriter from Kingston, ON. A veteran of the concert and festival circuit, she receives rave reviews for her live performances. Fry’s latest album, back in a moment, was released in June 2007 to critical acclaim. On CBC’s “Fresh Air” it was a July pick by Mark Rheaume.

Georgette earned a JUNO nomination for her debut CD release in 1995, and she has continued to earn awards and nominations for both her singing and her songwriting. In 2006 CBC’s ‘Saturday Night Blues’ awarded her the Great Canadian Blues Award. She has been honoured to be included on the Toronto Blues Society’s album, Women’s Blues Revue LIVE, and on CBC’s "Saturday Night Blues" 20-Year Compilation CD.

Georgette’s concerts highlight the ease with which she bridges the gap between jazz and blues. Join us for a fine dining experience and an intimate concert with Georgette.

The Grange is a magnificent 180-year-old log building that was once a barn and has now been converted for use for meetings and events. Its riverside, woodland setting and authentic heritage furnishings offer a unique atmosphere in a tranquil environment. Revenues from bookings of The Grange support a not-for-profit organization, The Grange of the Gatineau, which was established to promote heritage, the arts and debate and serve the community.
