Terry Gillespie has walked the streets of Detroit playing with legends such as Howlin Wolf, Buddy Guy, Albert Collins, Junior Wells and John Lee Hooker and has had critical success with his Ottawa-based project, Heaven’s Radio. He has marked his return to commercial playing in December 2006 with his long-awaited ‘comeback’ solo CD, Brother of the Blues, a powerful release which highlights his blues roots and his reggae influences fused into an intoxicating disc that adds a fresh outlook to the modern day blues scene. For this show, he’ll have Vince Halfhide, Corky Kealy, Jeffery Grosvenor and Terry Owens in the band.
