Little Miss Jolene Higgins’ country blues album “Junction City” was nominated in the Blues Album of the Year category for the 2008 Juno Awards to be held in Calgary, Alberta, April 5-6. The five-foot-two singer/guitarist won in the Favourite Blues Artist/Group or Duo of the Year category of the 8th Annual Indies Awards in 2008.

Little Miss Higgins toured extensively in 2008 including appearing on festival stages in Edmonton, Winnipeg, Montreal, Owen Sound, and Canso, Nova Scotia. 2009 finds her equally busy with a bevy of festival dates and a UK tour in the fall.
