When: Friday, Aug. 21 at 9pm

Where: The Elmdale Tavern, 1084 Wellington St. W.

Why: Because you'll have such a good time!

How much: Only $5

CLEAR (www.myspace.com/myclear) mixes big vocals, smooth melodies, infectious rhythms and jazzy guitar licks into its original pop songs. Ken Kanwisher will join CLEAR on bass and cello. The band will perform singles from their upcoming LP, "Maybe This Time" due for release in Fall 2009.

Arthur II (www.myspace.com/arthurIIartist) leads the Fuzzy Recollections in a revival of 50s-style pop with a twist of folk rock. It's a nostalgic serenade – come and dance in the devil's parade.
