OPENING FOR JOHNNY WINTER

JULIAN FAUTH and DAVID ROTUNDO will be in Gravenhurst, Ontario, Saturday night at Peter’s Players opening for the legendary JOHHNY WINTER. Anybody who has experienced that duo, with Julian on keyboard, David on harmonica and both sharing the vocals, will understand what a dynamic act they put together. How appropriate to be opening for one of the greatest blues guitarists. Sorry, though, folks, the show was sold out long ago.

FYI, JULIAN FAUTH and DAVID ROTUNDO will be reprising their performance in September at the

Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

NEWMARKET JAZZ AND BLUES FESTIVAL – FEATURING JULIAN FAUTH AND HARRISON KENNEDY

You can hear a great one-two show at the Newmarket Jazz and Blues Festival on Wednesday, August 26. Electro-Fi recording artists JULIAN FAUTH and HARRISON KENNEDY open the festival with Harrison on at 7:00 PM and Julian and his band following at 8:00. The Festival is presented by the Town of Newmarket. It runs from August 26 to August 29, and all concerts are free. You can get there quickly from Toronto by taking Hwy 404 north to Davis Drive, west along Davis to Prospect Street, south on Prospect to Timothy Street and then west on Timothy, and that will take you to Market Square where the music is.

GUELPH RIBFEST

Then on Friday, August 28, you folks out Guelph-Kitchener way can catch JULIAN FAUTH at the Guelph Ribfest, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Guelph-Trillium. The Ribfest takes place at Riverside Park. Get directions at http://www.ribfestguelph.com/directions.cfm. Julian’s performance runs from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.
