Subj: weekend of music and fun!
Hi everyone! We hope that all of your 4th of July weekends went well and you all had your fill of hot dogs and fireworks. Just thought we'd let everyone know about the musical benefit that we put together this weekend, Friday and Saturday, July 10 and 11. This will be held in downtown Everett, at the Anchor Pub (905 Hewitt Ave Everett 425-252-2288). If you want directions from anywhere, Google or Mapquest or just ask us. It is for KSER radio, a local, listener-supported, independent radio station. They play all types of music (depending on what time you tune in) and best of all have no commercials! They do have the occasional public service announcements, and plug certain events, but they're not filled with those annoying, mass-produced commercials. The benefit has five award winning bands each night, food, drinks and raffles for fabulous prizes (ranging from CD's to restaurant gift certificates to hotel rooms to a custom-made snare drum). The BBQ starts at 5pm, and the music starts at 7pm both nights. The tickets to get in are $10 a night, with $2 raffle tickets, and ALL of the proceeds are going to KSER to help keep it on the air. You can click on htttp://summertimeblues2009.blogspot.com for get more information. Or you can reply to this e-mail with any questions and we'll answer you right away. Take care and we hope to see many of you this weekend. Yours in musical friendship, Paul and Willow
