OTTAWA BLUES SOCIETY - "ON THE ROAD TO MEMPHIS" FOR IBC

Greetings, OBS Supporters!


Your Ottawa Blues Society will again participate in the Blues Foundation's International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN. The winner of the OBS “Road to Memphis” event will compete as our representative in the International Blues Challenge to be held in Memphis, January 2010.

Two semi-final rounds will be held at Tucson's (2440 Bank St. at Hunt Club), 7:00 p.m., Wednesdays, September 16 & 23, and the Finals on Friday, September 25. Come on out and support your Ottawa Blues music!

Want to volunteer for the “Road to Memphis” Event? We’ll be looking for 2-3 outgoing & friendly members to help promote raffle sales each evening of the competitions. $5 cover at the door (fundraising for winner’s expenses to attend IBC competition) is optional for OBS volunteers.
