Dear All,

We have a wonderful 9th season of blues lined up for you starting this Fall:

On Saturday, September 19 at 9 PM, we present the Garrett Mason Band (Halifax) with openers the BS Blues Band (aka the Streamliners). Garrett's band is one of our most popular acts that has sold out regularly and we have had to turn people away from George's as a result. So this time, we thought we would have him come and play a free show at the big tent on Bridge Street during the Fall Fair! This has been made possible due to generosity of The Town of Sackville, and all our sponsors including our new premier sponsor The Mortgage Makers. For more on the band, please visit:

On Saturday, October 17 at 9 PM, we present the Braille Blues Daddy from New Orleans, Bryan Lee
and his band. " of the best bluesman I have ever heard," says Eric Clapton; Buddy Guy appears on the new album (that is to be released in October); and everyone who has seen him attests to his ability to play soulfully and still go head to head with rockin' bluesmen like the Kenny Wayne Sheppard's of the world...For more on the man and the band, please visit:

On Saturday, November 7 at 9 PM, we present E C Scott from LA (tentative). EC's played her big, soulful, r&b-infused blues for us before and was very warmly it was easy to ask her back. Plus she has a lot going on: a new album on Alligator (release date TBA) and a cable TV show that she started, that is gaining momentum and audiences everywhere. For more one of the better blues singer/songwriters out there, please visit:

The 9th annual TBS blues series would be impossible without our sponsors (who we request you to support): The Mortgage Makers, The Sackville Save Easy, The Sackville Tribue Post, Ove Samuelson Law Office, George's Roadhouse, Rod Allen Co. Ltd., the Marshlands Inn, Joey's Pizza, The Argosy and CHMA.

Thanks to all of you who took the time to respond to our request for feedback, which has been most useful in formulating our future plans. We look forward to seeing all of you at the shows!

Regards, The TBS Team
