CROSSROADS - UPCOMING GIGS (AUG. 23 - SEPT. 14/08)


On Saturday, August 23 - The Crossroads Band will lay down the BIG BEAT at The Rockfish Grill and Anacortes Brewery - 320 Commercial Ave., Anacortes, WA - Phone: 360-588-1720. The Rockfish is a very nice venue with good beer and excellent food! The band always has a good time. If you're near the Skagit Valley on Saturday, drop on by. No cover charge. The band plays from nine to midnight. We hope to see ya!

The Crossroads Band is involved with two very important benefits soon. One is the "Blues for Food Fest" on Saturday, August 30, and the other is the "KT and Jimie Jean Tuttle Benefit", on Sunday, September 14, at The Salmon Bay Eagles in Ballard, WA.

BLUES FOR FOOD FEST

On Saturday, August 30, Crossroads will be part of a great line-up to help raise funding for the Seattle area P-Patch/Food Bank programs at the Magnuson Park Ampitheatre in North Seattle, on the west shore of Lake Washington! The list of performers for the "Blues For Food Fest" goes like this:

Brian Butler (solo) - 11-11:30 am
Billy Roy Danger and the Rectifiers - Noon-1:30pm
Polly O'Keary and the Rhythm Method - 2-3:30pm
Crossroads - 4-5:30pm
Mark Riley Trio - 6-7:30

BENEFIT FOR KIRK "KT" TUTTLE AND JIMIE JEAN

On Sunday, September 14, the Crossroads band will be part of a musical extravaganza to help long-time Seattle drummer Kirk "KT" Tuttle and his wife, Jimie Jean, who both have developed severe health problems. The Seattle blues community would like to show our love and support for KT and Jimie Jean by filling the Salmon Bay Eagles, 5616 20th Ave. NW, Seattle, WA (206- 783-7791). The music goes from 3pm to midnight!
