Hello again,
Wanted to make sure our South Sound friends, and north-enders willing to travel for entertainment, had information on an opportunity to hear a short live set featuring Blues Playground players and tunes. Sean and Jeff are joining forces with Mike Wright and the Wright Brothers Rhythm Section in Tacoma at Jazzbones this Sunday (June 7) as an entry in the International Blues Challenge, performing Sean Denton originals. Check out the great line-up of entertainers for this event on the Jazzbones website under the June 7 column titled "Back to Beale Street". Music begins at 2:00pm, open to all ages. We’ve been told that the Wright Brothers show time is 5:30pm.
And don’t forget Blues Fridays with the Denton/Nicely Blues Playground at the Mirkwood & Shire Café in Arlington, June 5th, June 12th, and June 19th,
7:30 – 11:00 pm. Always a pleasure and an adventure, as Sean Denton takes the lead with his excellent collection of original blues tunes, covers with a twist, and our own assortment of fine musical playmates. All ages welcome!
