BREAKING NEWS - By 2010 SIX SECONDS will be released in 12 countries and in 7 languages!

I recently returned from Book Expo America in New York and where my publisher gave me the news.

I'll have updates and details but in addition to being published in English in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, Six Seconds, will also be published in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Poland, Denmark and Germany.

We may have news on other countries later.

Thank you to everyone who came to my signings at Book Expo in the chute, at the Harlequin Booth and the booth for Mystery Writers of America. I enjoyed meeting newsletter subscribers, those of you who are on Dorothy L, librarians, book lovers, book store owners, everyone.

I especially enjoyed meeting readers at the Bloody Words conference this weekend in Ottawa.

Thank you everyone for turning out and listening to my stories.

MIRA my publisher was kind enough to put a free copy of Six Seconds in every bag for the registered attendees and I signed a lot of books and enjoyed chatting with everyone.

I will be attending The World Mystery Conference - Bouchercon - October 15-18 in Indianapolis, Ind. So, maybe I see some of you there.

While at Book Expo America I was interviewed on camera by Romantic Times Book Reviews Magazine out of Brooklyn. They asked me about Vengeance Road. WRITING NEWS:

I was asked to contribute a new short story to OTTAWA MAGAZINE. The Summer Issue will feature a number of crime fiction stories from Ottawa authors -- look for mine, called "Back Up." It's the story of a little boy so concerned about his his father, a police officer, caught up in a deadly armed robbery, that he rushes to his aid.

Work continues on Jack Gannon 2, set for release the summer of 2010 and entitled THE PANIC ZONE.
