OLG Presents Music

Bluefest International Celebrates 15th year. Make it a family reunion or friends' gathering and meet a Bluesfest on the river for a value-packed 4 days of smokin' blues. July 16-19, 2009

Bluesfest International ranks in the top 11 Blues Festivals in North America. Set in downtown Windsor on the banks of the Detroit River, overlooking the Motown skyline as a backdrop, and opposite Caesars Casino. Our performers rate our gorgeous, outdoor venue as one of the prettiest and most inspiring on the entertainment circuit.

One of Canada's premiere blues festivals, Bluesfest, a community event, began in 1995, with a mandate to produce an annual world-class event. Ted Boomer, producer was awarded the Promoter of the Year award, from The Blues Foundation, Memphis Tennessee in 2006 for his outstanding work in promoting the blues. This was the first time anyone from outside the U.S. has ever received this prestigious award.
